We are not only the official end point but also the 1st Guest House at the end of the Rob-Roy-Way. We offer comfortable and warm accommodation after the long walk which covers almost 80 miles retracing the route used by the famous Rob Roy Macgregor who took part in the Jacobite uprising and was outlawed for many years. Rosehill is centrally located and in a unique position for easy access to Pitlochry's main street and the world famous Pitlochry Festival Theatre. The Pitlochry Theatre established in 1951 is renowned for offering a wide range of shows throughout the year. Rosehill is owned and run by Jackie Maclellan and family. This immaculately kept Guest House with its clean bright and spacious en-suite bedrooms comprises of five double en-suite rooms and two family en-suite rooms. Rosehill Guest House is situated just off Atholl Road which is the main street in Pitlochry. From the South From Perth take the A9 route North and follow the signs for Pitlochry. After approximately 40 minutes branch left on to the A924 signposted Pitlochry. Once you enter the town you will see the Police station and Tourist Office on your right. Go through the 1st set of traffic lights and turn left into Ferry Road and left again immediately in to Rosehill car park. Do not go under the bridge as you will have passed the entry point to Rosehill Guest House. From the North From Inverness take the A9 route South and follow the signs for Pitlochry. After approximately 1 hours branch left on to the A924 signposted Pitlochry and continue until you reach the centre of the town. You will now be on the main street, Atholl Road. Continue on this road passing the Fishers hotel on your right until you see a memorial also on your right. Take the next right in to Ferry Road and left again immediately in to Rosehill car park. Do not go under the bridge as you will have passed the entry point to Rosehill Guest House. We are located, 1 hours from both Edinburgh and Glasgow International Airports.If you are travelling from mainland Europe via Zeebrugge (Belgium) to Rosyth on the Superfast Ferries we are approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes North of the ferry terminal via M90 Perth and then on to the A9 Pitlochry. The cities of London, Edinburgh Glasgow and Inverness have good transport links to Pitlochry if you intend arriving by train - www.scotrail.co.uk - or - www.gner.co.uk. We are a 5 minute walk from Pitlochry Railway station.We are also situated on the main bus route www.city-link.co.uk for Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and London.
